My friend Jamie is heading to Haiti tomorrow to spend a week with their 2 children they are adopting. I can’t tell you how excited I am for her and their family. It’s to the point where internally it almost feels that I’m the one going to meet my kids. Ok so that is a little extreme but I am trying to express how excited and overwhelmed I am for them right now. Dave and I love the Ivey family. We don’t live in the same state and we or Dave physically sees them 2-3x a year but they are wonderful people who have such a passion for life, ministry, adoption, and for changing this world. We so wished we were able to rub shoulders with them each and every day. But please pray for Jamie as she embarks on a fabulous week of many firsts. I am looking forwarding to reading up on her journey and thoughts. If you want to learn more about their adoption process visit their site here.
My second thing for this week is praying so very hard for our friends the Reichley’s and that their house would sell. I just talked to my friend Audrey and they have had the same family come and see their house 2x last week. So we are praying for an offer this week. They have found a much bigger home that they love and need and are waiting for their current house to sell. So please pray for that this week as well when you think about it.
Thanks Kim for the prayers and blog love. I have had several people say they feel as though they are going b/c they are so excited for me and that makes me happy to know that people are excited for me and will be thinking and praying for me while I’m gone.

Kim!!!!
Thanks so much for the prayers and the call out for others! It is pretty humbling to be placed right under the request for the Ivey’s, but I count it an honor! Thanks again, hopefully we will come back with a contract to sign.
