Emma turned 8 today.  8 years.  I blink and she’s 8.

I”m really lacking in my party planning skills. I”ll give myself a break and chalk it up to the fact that we’ve been a little out of pocket.  We did a low key birthday this year for both the girls. Kept it pretty simple for us and them too. We did enjoy staying up till midnight with her last night and singing in her birthday (a first).  Bacon for breakfast and then an impromptu pizza time with friends this evening where we grabbed a cake.  She’s taking a treat to school tomorrow for all her friends.

Emma –  you are brave, strong, adventurous, caring, nurturing, creative, giving, sensitive.  I love your heart for others and for life and most of all for the Lord.
