Dave finally rolled into town yesterday late afternoon just in time for a family neighborhood get together. The Reichleys threw a fantastic pumpkin carving party with all the extras. I just love going somewhere with no expectations. I just thought we were going to carve a pumpkin with Emma and let the kids play. Well we did carve a pumpkin but we also had Chili, hot apple cider and got to top it off with pumpkin pie… (Courtney’s an incredible cook) So all that to say I love when I get surprised. When they said time for dinner, I was like… Dinner? You are serving dinner? Anyway great times, great weather, great fellowship. Moments that life are all about.
We have a very busy week this week. Tomorrow is Emma’s fall party at school. She is dressing up as snow white this year. I don’t ask questions. She just tells me what she is doing. 🙂 Engage tonight, Dave has an overnight trip to Birmingham on Tuesday. He is speaking at an Upward Awards night there. Wednesday is trick or treat, Thursday G-MA from Florida is coming to see us. (((we can’t wait!))) and then this weekend our fellow wayfarer Robert is getting married. We have prayed for 5 years for him to find his wife. And that he did. He and Lindsay will be getting married on Saturday but we have parties starting on Thursday for the wedding party. All the guys at Wayfarer are in the bridal party. Again a very busy week but one that will be loads of fun.
Happy Monday Everyone!
