It’s fun meeting new friends. Odd at times that you can run across people that when you get in a room you feel like you’ve known them for years. I”m thankful for that. New places are not so much fun without familiar faces. We feel like we have been blessed by the familiar even here in Pawleys. Our children have even found new friends too!
Tonight Emma and I were on top of the house looking at the stars before bed. I snuck her up there while the littles were not looking. I’m loving our talks that we have. It’s hard not to look at the stars and not have some pretty amazing God things to talk about and I love when those conversations happen with my seven year old. Now I’m about to grab Dave and head up there so we can continue the conversations that have been birthed in our hearts. Heck, maybe I’ll even see the (Kim Ann Rhodes) star he bought me almost a decade ago. HA! By the way, who names a star Kim Ann Rhodes? It was a great gift… I’ll give him that.
