• Dave was gone again this weekend.  I always good to go when he has a weekend here and there but the back to back weekends for some reason was really hard this time around.
  • Izzie fell tonight on our concrete driveway and really did a number scraping her upper lip and underside.  How she hit just that spot and nothing else amazes me.  I feel to bad for her.  She’s been a trooper.
  • Emma has been doing the most random acts of kindness this weekend.  Whenever Izzie is taking her milk she stops whatever she is doing and goes and finds her blanket for her and gives it to her.
  • I was doing laundry today… stuff was running in the dryer.  I went to take a shower and next thing I know Emma is bringing in fresh folded towels (she folded them and put them away) and she made my bed for me.  I was perplexed.  She is becoming me and she loves it… oh boy!
  • I’ve been blown away by people donating and giving money for my trip to Haiti.  I even had someone I don’t know at all give.  They just happened to read my blog.  I think that has been one of the more sweeter times of receiving that I have had.
  • Do you know what a french press is?  Well my friend Courtney gave me one last week.  She’s the friend you love to have because she is the friend that always keeps me current on things and introduces me to new things.  Anyway never knew you could brew a cup of coffee that way.  I’m addicted!
  • Emma starts Upward Soccer this week.  I can’t believe I’ve gone full circle and now have a child playing Upward (I used to work there).  She is so excited and so am I.
  • My grandmother is doing good.  She’s recovering well from her surgery.
  • Did I ever mention that Dan my brother in law got engaged?  He and Elizabeth are getting married on January 3rd.
  • Dave and I are celebrating our 10 yr here in April.  10 years.  Very hard to believe.  Time has flown by.
  • The time change has done me in.  I am missing my hour of sleep.
